It's a book of short true stories. The title comes from the fact that I
was born with hip dysplasia (many Labrador Retrievers have it!) so I've
had 3 surgeries and 3 body casts so far in an attempt to fix it. A couple
stories address this, but topics also range from the peacock farm I
grew up next to to spending time on a nude beach. You can read

| I really loved this book, it was an excellent read. The stories were really well written and to the point, full of emotion, character, and a genuineness that can be felt from beginning to end. It made me cry hard, and laugh out loud, relating every story to my own life experiences. It really made me feel how we're all in it together, and need to enjoy each other more. | This book is a must read! Ms. Rine-Stone writes in a very witty, entertaining way. I literally could not put the book down. I laughed so hard and at times wept even harder. The author pulled at my heart strings, and she captured all of my emotions. Her stories are quite heartfelt and poignant. I felt totally connected to her and her life experiences.
